Singing, dancing, kicking the ball, and of course also saying the letters, and reading the words... quickly they progress to reading the books and more!
What do the children learn?
From the earliest age, the children learn how best to handle daily life and make it enjoyable with all the playmates that surround them. Our highest goal is for each child to look on the other as a member of their larger family, to see the family unit as a small picture of what the whole world can be.
Whether working in the garden, or working on a puzzle, the task is the same - to bring a spirit of enjoyment to all that we do!

Balloons are one of the best ways to get your youngster developing their eye to hand coordination. Unlike other balls, balloons are big enough and slow enough for the children to track. We play a round of follow the leader and challenge the beginners to throw their balloons in the air and later ask them to catch. As our 'Color Week' continued, we enjoyed Eric Carle's 'Brown Bear, Brown Bear, What Do You See?' In the pictures below, our 4 and 5 year olds are seen matching the colors to the correct animals. Then, a memory challenge has them practicing their writing skills with fill in the blank statements from the story. In the end, it was a tie...they both got them all right!

When 'G' joined us earlier this year we wanted to think of fun ways to get the kids working with colors. We placed two contrasting paints in a ziploc bag and taped it to our sliding glass door. It was all we needed to unlock their inner artists!
